Study Abroad in São Paulo: Beyond the Classroom

Learning does not begin or end in the classroom. To help you get a true taste of Brazilian culture, a wide range of cultural activities and excursions are included in your program fee.

The Resident Director organizes a variety of activities which usually include visits to:

  • Historical center of São Paulo
  • Municipal Market
  • Major art museums
  • Social activities with local Brazilians
  • Festa Junina and the Aula de Gastronomia Brasiliera
The following courses are offered to AIFS students for an additional fee, payable upon arrival:
  • Brazilian dance classes
  • Capoeira classes
  • Soccer classes

Campus at FAAP

There is an atmosphere of intense cultural awareness on campus, which is reinforced by the FAAP Theater and the Museum of Brazilian Art (MAB). The museum is home to both international and Brazilian art exhibitions as well as national art research.

FAAP Fitness Center

Located on campus, the Fitness Center offers students a wide range of equipment for workouts and fitness training.
